Salida in every season is gorgeous for a wedding - even winter! We thought we would explore some of the favorite vendors we partner with through the Heart of the Rockies Wedding Association.
First of all, not only can Blue Coyote Ranch host weddings on site, up to 39 guests can also rest easy for long or short stays during the time surrounding the wedding they are attending. Outdoor ceremonies and receptions are very popular - especially since we have more sunny days here than in California!
Our Salida neighbors are experts at helping us host weddings and other events at the ranch. Here are a few of our favorites! More great vendors can also be found on the Heart of the Rockies Wedding Association’s website.
Drinks
We recommend Luna Libations for wetting the whistles at the wedding! They are essentially a self-contained, mobile bar that comes to you and when finished, simply drives away. This take takes the hassle out of serving liquor, beer and wine - not to mention ice! They also make amazing custom cocktails for your big day. Once you decide what kind of cocktails or beverages you want, they will order it all for you at a discount, serve during the event, and then leave all the leftover booze for you to enjoy later! If you’d prefer to bring your own alcohol they will also work with you on that.
Luna also offers Signature Cocktails and glassware rental. Stay classy with glass! Their bartenders are hired by the hour, and they even offer coffee service for that much needed boost! Need a self-serve hydration station for the dancers in your party? They have that covered too!
Flowers
Blooms are an essential part of any wedding, are they not? We have the perfect wedding florist for your event at our Ranch! Phytology Flowers is more than a florist. They are a sustainable wedding florist and flower farm in Salida, Colorado. Check out the gorgeous winter weddings on their website! The whole planning process is meant to be fun and enjoyable, and the owner, Hannah, helps couples choose the right expression of their vision, often with locally grown flowers for a more authentic experience.
Cake! (and Cupcakes)
Blush and Blue Baking (Facebook page) is our favorite local bakery and you can tell that they are passionate about what they do. They have listings on other sites as well, and are known for their gorgeous, modern wedding cakes and cupcake combinations. Give them a little creative license, and they will deliver something beyond your expectations!
